Returns Policy
It’s important to thoroughly read and understand our returns policy before making a purchase on our website. Keep in mind that our policy complements your rights as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, and does not override them. Additionally, to ensure the longest possible lifespan of our garments, it’s crucial to follow our provided washing and care instructions.
SALE ITEMS
If you purchase a discounted or clearance item, you cannot return it due to a change of mind. You can only return the product if it is faulty, not fit for its intended purpose, or does not match the description.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
We offer a product exchange or refund should you change your mind regarding your purchase. Conditions you must comply with in order to be able to exchange your product purchase or receive a refund are stated below:
- Products must be returned within 30 days of you receiving the product
- In their original condition (unworn, unused, unwashed)
- Must have original tags/packaging attached
- Must have hygiene sticker remaining in place
In order to receive an exchange or refund for your return, you will need to pay for the eligible items to be returned to our warehouse at your own expense.

Tracked postage service should ideally be used when returning items as Petaluda Swim cannot be held responsible for lost or missing parcels.
FAULTY ITEMS
If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or doesn’t match the description, you can get a refund, replacement, or credit. To have your issue resolved, please email us at info@petaludaswim.com, and we will assess and investigate the matter.
We will need the following information:
- Order number
- Photo of the item showing the fault or how it does not match the description.
If applying for multiple faults, you will be required to provide a photo of all items and their faults in one photo so that we can clearly identify the issue.
If we need to inspect your products, you may be asked to return them. It is advised that you use a tracked postage service to send back items, as we will not be held accountable for any lost or missing parcels. We will cover the shipping costs for replacing products that are deemed faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match their description. Australian Consumer Law Guidelines
Your purchase of goods will be subject to certain laws including the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Consumer Law provides you with certain rights that cannot be excluded, including that the goods must be of acceptable quality, reasonably fit for the purpose that we represent they will be fit for, and that the goods will correspond with any relevant description. Nothing in these Terms shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy implied by law (including the Australian Consumer Law) which cannot by law be excluded, restricted or modified.
